## Fix Applied
**Problem Found**: The `.field-group` class in document_detail.html had no CSS rules for child input, select, and textarea elements. Browser defaults (white background, dark text) were being applied, making the fields invisible against the dark theme.
**Changes Made**: Added CSS rules in `server/templates/base.html` (lines 1424-1486) for:
- `.field-group` - base margin styling
- `.field-group label` - gray text, proper font sizing
- `.field-group input, .field-group select` - transparent background, dark border, light text
- `.field-group textarea` - same dark theme styling
- Focus states with subtle highlight
- Gray placeholder text styling
- Custom dropdown arrow for selects
- `.field-row` - flexbox layout for side-by-side fields
**Verification**:
- 156 CLI/TUI tests passed
- Deployed to production (trckr.roboalch.com)
- Visual verification via screenshot confirms Title, Type, Entity ID, and Tags fields now display correctly with dark backgrounds and readable light text
**Files Changed**:
- server/templates/base.html (64 lines added)

## Bug Triage Complete
**Reproduction:** CONFIRMED
**Summary:** Document detail view form inputs (Title, Type, Entity ID, Tags) have invisible white backgrounds due to missing CSS styling for the .field-group class. The EasyMDE editor below has correct dark theme styling.
**Root Cause:** The document_detail.html template uses .field-group class which has no CSS rules for child input/select elements in base.html. Browser defaults (white background) are applied instead.
**TDD Approach:**
1. Write test asserting form inputs have transparent/dark background
2. Add CSS rules for .field-group input, .field-group select in base.html
3. Or change template to use .form-group with .form-control class like issue_detail.html
**Complexity:** Low (simple CSS fix)
**Estimated effort:** 15-30 minutes
